Heavy Duty Mechanic

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work.
• Perform repair work on heavy trucks.
• Service attachments and working tools.
• Perform other routine maintenance.
• Please note that this is a physically demanding job; bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads (up to 50lbs), and standing for extended periods will be required.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience (preferred).
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.

Compensation:

• $44/hour base salary, increases with experience.
• Dental plan.

Schedule:

• Tuesday to Saturday.
• 8-hour shifts.
